Meet the Photographer
Hey, I'm Kyle!
I was born and raised in Southern California and moved to Chicago to study theatre in 2017. I’ve been here ever since, and now I call Chicago home.
I’ve always had a camera on me, but being an actor is what eventually led me to photographing other actors, dancers, and artists. Photography has become another way for me to work with and be a part of the creative community that I love most.
How I work
Coming from an acting background, I know firsthand how vulnerable and awkward it can feel to be in front of a camera. One of my biggest focuses is creating a comfortable, collaborative space where you feel safe to explore without worrying about what you’re “supposed” to do.
My goal is to take that pressure off so we can create something that feels honest and like you.

Fun Facts about me
My last name is spelt "Bode", but it's pronounced "boh-DEE". Most people say it the way it's spelt, but my high school principal called me "Kyle Body" when I walked at graduation. Pick your poison!
I'm a huge fan of ice hockey and my sweet pup, Saoirse. If you're lucky, you might even meet her in the studio!
